I would highly recommend Fit Mummy Bootcamp to any mum wanting to get fit. Helen is an amazing trainer and her energy and professionalism makes you feel confident. From the very beginning we have felt welcome and at ease. It is a great atmosphere to not only focus on yourself but also talk all things motherhood. My little one loves coming which makes it even more enjoyable. I only wish I had discovered this class with my first! – Jade

I have always been an active person, but after the birth of my third little boy (and last!!) the beginning of this year and feeling isolated at home with no groups open, I signed up to Helen’s online Zoom sessions started attending from my living room and then when the gym reopened started going twice a week. I’ve never liked exercising more! Helen puts you at ease straight away and just understands post pregnancy bodies and is so accommodating. I now aim to go 3/4 x a week and it’s a lovely social talking to the other mummies too and feeling like you’ve had a little time for yourself. – Vicke

Had my little girl in April 2020. We attended some classes (as and when we could around lockdowns!) with my cousin and her little one. I absolutely loved the sessions! Having been an avid gym goer before having a baby it was nice to get back to some exercise surrounded by people who understood post baby bodies and knowing my little one was safe, happy and no stress of getting childcare so I could work out. It was so good for my little one to see some other little faces too! Would definitely recommend ♥️ – Kirsty

I’m now back with Helen at Fit Mummy after my second baby, and loving it. I used to attend the toddler sessions with my little boy; he got to play with all the fun toys and I got a workout: win win! I’m now at the baby session with my daughter, and it feels so good to be active again. Even if I’ve not managed any exercise at home in the week, I know that I get my weekly boost at bootcamp. The great thing is you don’t have to sign up for a set amount of time – if you can’t make one week, you simply don’t sign up for that session. Helen is an expert trainer and, having two children of her own, is also an expert in juggling motherhood (making her very understanding!!) – Leanne

I was an avid gym goer before I had my daughter so Helen’s sessions were the perfect way to get back into exercise. Helen understands mum life and post pregnancy bodies so you feel safe and comfortable to push yourself as much as you can but there’s no pressure to do more than you are comfortable with. Not only that but the group is so social! Everyone has a good chat and a laugh which was so lovely after such a long time in lockdown. Even when we couldn’t go to face to face sessions the online sessions kept you motivated and you felt as though you’d all met up! I can’t recommend Helen/fit mummy bootcamp enough. – Bex

I have never done any sort of exercise since school and the thought of doing something like this terrified me. However I booked a trial session – absolutely loved it and have been attending sessions ever since.
Helen is a brilliant trainer and will put you at complete ease from the moment you step into the gym. She continues to motivate as you work, explains every exercise and there is no pressure to see to a screaming baby if needed!
The other mummies that are there are extremely friendly and chatty. Something that I’ve found doesn’t happen in a lot of baby groups. – Katie

We’ve been attending fit mummy boot camp for the last 3 years and enjoy exercising in a stress free relaxed environment where you can take you baby with you. The sessions give you a good workout but there’s no pressure if you need to take a break or to feed your little one. You can adapt the exercises if you need to, or if your little ones wants to be clingy and needs holding the whole session! My toddler even enjoys attending as there’s other children to play with and she can join in with the squats!
Helen is a fantastic trainer! She’s very knowledgeable and motivational. As a mum herself she understands what your going through and has first hand experience on adapting exercise to fit around you and your baby! – Amanda

Never having been to a gym in my life the idea of exercise classes scared me. But after my second (and last) baby I really wanted to try and get back into shape. I completed the trial session and found the class to be really friendly, hard work but rewarding. Helen is lovely and very accommodating and the ladies there are friendly and encouraging. I started going to bootcamp when my daughter was about 3 months old and am sadly having to stop now she’s nearly 1 as I’m going back to work. Helen is super welcoming and immediately puts you at ease when you first arrive. She also creates a really supportive atmosphere for mums and somehow manages to remember everyone’s name! Her classes are always great, varied and easily tailored to different abilities. It’s also a safe environment for little ones and there’s plenty of toys to keep them entertained while you workout, or Helen’s always on hand to help you integrate your baby into the exercises if they need a little cuddle. It’s also no issue at all to take a break to feed, nappy change etc. I would highly recommend Fit Mummy Bootcamp to all mummies, even if you’re not usually the fitness bootcamp type. I was quite fit before and during pregnancy, so I wanted something to get me back into enjoying exercise along with my little one. Helens classes absolutely achieved this! Helen is so welcoming and enthusiastic every single session. Great value for money, a welcoming group of ladies and babies! I really recommend these classes! It’s so easy to take your baby along and it’s no problem if they ‘play up’ you just use them in the exercise and there are lots of mums in the same situation too. There are also lots of toys to keep them entertained. I liked it for me as it actually felt like I’d worked out and I defiantly got stronger and fitter over only a few weeks. I have tried several postnatal exercise classes around MK but this concept is genius: the sessions aren’t too long (45min), highly effective and the little ones enjoy it, too!
At first my baby was quite clingy so Helen showed me how to do all the exercises while holding or lifting the baby and he loved it. The more often I came the more content baby was and I could do the whole circuit on full power… sometimes wishing he would cry so I can sneak out of the burpee station 😉

Just had an excellent workout at Fit Mummy Bootcamp! Probably the first proper workout I’ve had since my baby was born (and she’s a year old so that shows you how long it’s been!). I’ve found it really difficult to do any exercise beyond pushing the pram while I walk; I didn’t fancy leaving my daughter in a gym crèche as she can be clingy and I don’t think she’d want a stranger looking after her – Fit Mummy Bootcamp is the solution to this problem! My daughter was happy as anything toddling around with an inflatable dice for 45 mins while I did my workout… in fact I think she got a good workout too running around looking at the different toys. Helen is an excellent, confident, relaxed and friendly trainer who put me at ease despite my shocking fitness levels. I left feeling like I’d achieved something and my daughter had been thoroughly entertained. Can’t wait for the next session! – Steph

I love the Fit Mummy Bootcamp sessions. It’s a brilliant way to workout and be able to bring along my baby. The sessions are fun and relaxed, balancing a workout with being able to tend to the babies as needed (and sometimes even incorporating babies into the exercise). The stations vary each session which keeps the workout interesting. The set up also allows everyone to work to their own pace, taking it slow or pushing harder. Highly recommend. – Claire

I love Fit Mummy Bootcamp! Helen has put together really good exercises and takes the time to make sure they work for you. I was worried about getting back into exercising and haven’t really found the time to go to the gym. Being able to bring my daughter with me is great. She loves the entertainment but Helen also adapts the exercises so that you can do it with your baby if they are unsettled. From someone who barely exercised pre-pregnancy let alone during or after, I was concerned about joining mummy Bootcamp and whether I would be able to keep up. However, Helen truly made me feel at ease and has motivated me to get my fitness back on track. It’s fantastic to go somewhere where babies are welcomed and accommodated for and Helen has lots of suggestions for exercises that can include them during the session and at home. For anyone who wants to get back into shape post-pregnancy (or for someone like me who wasn’t really in shape to begin with) I really recommend joining Helen’s classes even if it’s just to meet some new (slightly sweaty) mummies. – Kim

I loved my mumma baby boot camp work outs because it has been put together with new mummies in mind. Helen adapted any exercises which I found difficult and encouraged me to push myself to a level I found comfortable. It was a friendly and comfortable environment to work out. There was play mats and bouncers for the babies so I knew my little girl was comfortable. When my little girl became upset I was able to comfort her without feeling like I was holding the class up. I highly recommend this class to any new mummies who wants to start getting back into shape after pregnancy – Risha
